Open Works Office is conceived of as a vessel, a pourous place where ideas incubate and distill, breathe and unfold.  The name Open Works Office (OWO) is meant to capture the spirit of the firm's approach, one which encourages collaborative efforts in design, construction, education, and the arts.  We recognize and appreciate the distinction between built form and architecture, where one is a physical manifestation and the other an experience.  A small firm in West Chelsea near the High Line, OWO, time tested and professionally seasoned, is continuously refining and poised to grow.  Every project and client interaction is considered a unique experience and opportunity, one which is as much about the relationship as it is about the work.
